The 15th Annual Northern Colorado Writers Conference is on the books for April 30-May 2, 2020. We're thrilled to announce that Sophie Hannah and Teresa Funke will be joining us as this year's keynote speakers. As always, we're bringing you a stellar faculty with expertise in craft, process, business, marketing and more. We're also expanding our schedule by half a day to bring you 4-hour master classes in addition to two full days of sessions and workshops that will get your creative juices flowing.

Things to look for at this year's conference:

  • Four optional 4-hour Master Classes for intensive work on the craft and business of writing (April 30)
  • 30+ 1- and 2-hour sessions and workshops full of great information and hands-on exercises (May 1-2)
  • The popular agent/editor panel & luncheon with the opportunity to ask questions directly of our visiting agents and editors
  • A genre cocktail hour to help you get to know the people who are writing what you write
  • A banquet dinner featuring a keynote address on Agatha, Poirot and Me by international bestselling author Sophie Hannah
  • An inspiring address on Embracing Your Bursts of Brilliance by Teresa Funke during our day two lunch
  • Writing consultations with Teresa Funke and/or Rea Frey will be available for an additional fee. Rachel Weever will provide editing consultations for an additional fee
  • Agent consults & roundtables will be available for an additional fee
  • Our conference bookstore featuring books by our faculty and attendees (look for information about consignment later this year)
  • A vendor fair featuring writing related organizations and professionals who can help you on your journey
